What would be a good material to to absorb high-frequency noise but not affect temperature?

Need to block high-frequency noise (ultrasound)from a datalogger that is recording temperature.

If you need to absorb high-frequency noise it would be dificult to find some material that do not afect temperature (especifically that do not increas it), but you can use coton fibers (like a towel) to gain absortion in the high-frequency range. However, if you want to blockit, i highly recommend the solution proposed by @Tim Ziemer.
