As a registered nurse, my response to this question is probably a bit biased. I would think, though, that preventing hospital closures and enhancing rural healthcare are good starting points. The economic impacts of hospitals are huge, in addition to ensuring that rural residents have access to medical care.
Nobody knows when the COVID19 will have to end and until now, most of the researchers and scientists are busy working for the vaccine as a solution to this pandemic. The strategy is to bring back the economy before covid19 pandemic after what is happening now, but the problem is, no one knows. I think only we have to do is to pray. Thanks.
Most of the rural people depends on agricultural activities, dairy production, fruits and vegetables selling, etc. They will come back to main course of agricultural in rainy season, mostly in the month of July and onwards. Government should support the farmers.
Actually we don't know when the vaccine will apply to all, but as per my understanding, I can tell that this is the very crucial time where govt. should critically think and proposed money to the different rural base farming and nonfarming sector.
It's too early to say anything now but as a development professional we have to train them to use their products as processed products and then sell it to in market they will get better price.
From the government side atleast one food processing unit and storage unit have to setup in each district.
