I would like to know how does the impedance of a wire depend on its thickness. I want to make an implantable extracellular electrode for mouse brain, but I have to keep the wire thickness in mind so that it penetrates the tissue and not bend and at the same time have low impedance for single-unit recordings.

Ideal wire diameter would be 75 microns and material would be platinum-iridium.
