These three OH groups are located where. What is the nature of this trihydroxy compound and in what ratio you have reacted the both and under what reaction condition. If you analyze these points yourself can answer it. For example, are you using 1,3,5-trihydroxy benzene, 1,2,3- or some thing else or an aliphatic alcohol?
