theoretical perspectives on nature and learning of language may be just one facet to look into. Just in order to see how they help the learners achieve personal goals, and interact in multilingual settings?
Notably, enhancing students' abilities in diverse social contexts is probably the most needed objective in language teaching contexts. Teachers have long tried to cater to such a need by focusing on the use of creative texts containing poetry, games, and drama activities in the classroom in order to increase students' motivation for learning more. Not surprisingly, creativity on the part of language teachers for spicing up their teaching is not enough. As Jones and Richards (2016) maintain, creativity should permeate all aspects of language teaching including classroom, curriculum, and teacher development.Among these, creativity in teacher development is of a great significance since it can lead to the enhancement of the learners' motivation and the consolidation of their L2 selves in viewing language as a meaning making machine which can be used for joyful communication with other individuals in different social settings.
