Can anybody tell me what type of cable I need for the power supply to the control box in the image? (labelled 24v/5v POWER) I need to search for a replacement.
I know this is going to sound trite, but I would just e-mail the company and tell them the model number of your control box and ask them for either a replacement power cable or a drawing of the power cable with a bill of materials so you can get the connector and make your own cable.
Seyed is probably right about the connector, but do you actually know the pin-out for the connector, i.e., which pins are +5 VDC, +24 VDC, common, etc.? The manual for your equipment, if you have it, might give you this information, otherwise, you will still need a drawing of the power cable.
Thank you both for the responses, sadly I don't have any further information about the output. I am trying to get this information from the company, unfortunately the product has changed hands twice since it's inception and once since we bought it. It's now being sold by BISS, based in India, but they've gone quiet on me following my original enquiry. There's no manual available out there that I can find although I've also asked them for a copy if it exists. I do wonder if there's something in a help file in the software but I can't open the software without the system being fully connected and powered up!
If you have the manufacturer and model number of the controller box, you could try ebay and see if anyone is selling such a device. A lot of scientific equipment ends up on ebay and you might be able to get the manual, power cable, or a complete control box with power cable and manual.
