Can you anyone clarrify my doubt i am going to prepare nanoparticle by acid precipitate method. In this method, what type of acid solution add to source material solution? that solution either concentrate acid solution (or) diluted acid solution?
See solubility product AgCl. The product concentration of hydrochloric acid and silver nitrate to be larger than the product solubility. The greater the concentration of ions the greater the size of the nanoparticles. For your size you have to pick up the concentration.
Generally speaking you'll need some form of pH control for nanoparticle preparation in solution. This usually means lower concentrations of acid or alkali (e.g. diammine complexes is Ag nanoparticle formation) . A lot of precursors are chlorides (solubility reasons) and these can be acidic too.
