With condition one plant per pot and 30days growth period to ensure uniform growth.
Recommendation varies with place to place, mostly RDF is 80-50-50 or 90-45-45. N to be split as 50, 25 and 25% with three intervals. P and K supplied fully as basal application...Instead of one plant u may opt two plants in a pot for a better enumeration.
Should be applied basal dose of P and K 50-25 then 3 split dose of N with 23 kg/acre now you calculate dose in pots.
The doses recommended by colleagues are o.k. for field experiments.For pot culture at least the nitrogen dose has to be doubled to get normal growth.What is the pot size and why do you want to grow single plant only up to 30 days? Are micronutrients adequate in your soil?If the pot size is sufficient ,you can go for two plants for pot.
The doses recommended by colleagues are o.k. I think for 30 d growth period all requirements should be added according to pot soil analysis at the start of experiment . Sometimes using a complete fertilizer (20-20-20+ TE) at 2 g/l weekly could be proper for 30 d.
