I am currently writing a research proposal on educational export and most of the studies I have read do not really lean on any theoretical framework.
At least, a few use educational policy transfer ...I am wondering if there are other frameworks that can help to better theorize the phenomenon.

Can you elaborate on the question a bit by providing a definition of what it is you mean when you write educational export? I hear the echoes of the term I know called "Teaching to Transfer". By educational export, I mean intentional business transactions concerning educational practices, services and materials from one country to another.
