What strategies can be instituted to improve the negative image towards TVET?

Many youths are not willing to enroll in TVET institutions in many developing countries.

Reform the education system so that TVET is embedded in mainstream secondary education, through to tertiary education. Tertiary education can then take two paths, the skills/employment route (where learners attaend class connected to their trade) and then the research/academic route (focusing on innovations). As long as TVET is an add-on for those who have 'failed' school exams it will continue to carry a negative label!
