I would like to analyze the N-glycosylation profile of murine IgG isolated from the serum by capillary electrophoresis. To assign a specific glycan for each of my peaks after the run, I have to align my samples on a standard. At first, I used a human standard since the glycans are very similar, but I realized that the peaks corresponding to sialylated glycans do not align well.
I can not find any commercial mouse standard or specific sialylated glycans containing NeuGly (and not NeuAc like in humans).
I have looked at some published articles also studying murine N-glycosylation profile and they used a specific software for the analysis (GlyXtool). If possible, I would like to avoid using this software and find a way to get the right standard for my analysis.
If possible I would like to learn a way to identify with certainty each of the glycans that are in my samples. Any piece of advice is most welcome
