From your question, i could infer that you want to check anti-cancerous activity of your nanoparticles. For that you have you to be clear whether you wish to dissolve or disperse your nanoparticles. For dispering your nanoparticles, dispersants or stabilizers are required. Anionic surfactants and polyelectrolytes will help you in achieving the target. Try CMC.
