I already delineated a basin from a DEM file I have using ArcGIS. I tried loading the clip of the watershed into a new file thinking that the ArcGIS may treat it as a new DEM and further generate basins within it (therefore creating sub basins) but it did not work. Do you guys know a way of delineating sub basins in a basin using ArcGIS or even a seperate software for this? Much thanks!

You can download HEC-GeoHMS to work in GIS environment and delineate sub basins. Really good one to delineate sub basins.
