I've written a UMAT code that runs perfectly for single element models. When I try to apply it to multi-element models and more complex geometries, I see that some parameters (such as the value for the yield function), becomes NaN for some specific elements (I marked them in the attached figure). Has anyone had such a problem before? I'd appreciate your suggestions and solutions.

Faezeh Iranmanesh After you have validated an element. It is necessary to use more elements step by step and in more complex structures.
This error is related to an incorrect operation in the code. Put a line-by-line print in your code and check the values in the log file. These two packages will help you if you are not completely proficient in how to write subroutines and take the necessary steps.
