The media is so very effective as we have seen in the Pakistan in the last couple of years like the floods and earthquake. It can provide a platform where all can discuss their issues as well as providing a link when there is no other link available. The most significant aspect was that of providing financial and moral support to the haples victims
Media always can play a very effective and constructive role in disasters. Media's role can be very empathetic but again ethical issues need to be considered while covering the disaster because it is simultaneously affecting both the viewers and the community which is being covered. Media should act as Helping hand for the society in critical situations.
