Illegal fishing play dangerous role in affecting fish stock and nursery areas especially electric fishing and illegal net. Untied nation and FAO should continue enforce their fishing regulation and the safety measure to control the fish stock.
To combat illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, the Maritime Fisheries Department in Morocco has launched an operation to install an electronic system for identifying national small-scale fishing boats using radio frequency (RFID). This allows identification and monitoring of fishing fleet's activity at sea in real time. This system ensures better control of fishing fleets and contributes to strengthening the management of fisheries resources.

Effort to prevent is our debt to future generations and our responsibility to the Earth.
It is a huge problem in my country (Turkey) too. We established two different associations, in addition to my academic studies on fisheries management. And I'm board member of both associations.
First is GELBALDER. It is a association about survive traditional fisheries Second is MERKODER, It mean "Turkish Sturgeon Conservation Society".
It's a tough struggle. We are performing by the forums, blogs, meetings and fishermen training activities and etc.
You should never give up I have 40 years of experience contact police politicians go to court health authorities hydrologists any potential support good luck
It is depended to social and economical condition. we have armed guard for control illegal fishery in Iranian coast of Caspian sea, but it is not successful , because of economical condition and unemployment in area.
For illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing, using an electronic system for identifying national small-scale fishing boats using radio frequency (RFID) s good solution. Also fixing fishing quotas and monitoring it would be a good option.
to fight against illegal fishing, we must first make the players aware of the harmful effects of this practice. Take action by satiating those who do it. we must also strengthen surveillance.
Illegal fishing can be viewed in different contexts and is very much depended on the social and economical conditions. In my country we have the local people who conduct illegal fishing due to poverty, their major objective is to feed their families. Most of the times they use traditional fishing gear. Then we have the people who do illegal fishing for Commercial purpose, these one actually deplete stocks at a faster rate. We can not be silent in both cases, though to monitor the second group resources (that are not there in the first place) have to be allocated for patrols etc.
In Kenya we adapted beach management unit (BMU) through an act of parliament to manage the resource though bottom top management. Top down management had faced challenges.
Illegal fishing in natural habitat brings so many effects inevitable to the natural resource. To control it, first of all, a law should be formulated by the concerned. Thereafter, people's awareness should be created through social dramas and audio-visual aids.
