We know common symbols of pharmacy;
- Rx means you take, represents drug dispensing.
- Bowl of Hygeia, represents medicines that are potent.
- Mortar and Pestle, represents the compounding of medications.
As pharmacy practice is becoming more clinically focussed, pharmacists need a more relevant symbol like;
- Stethoscope of doctors
- Syringe of nurses
- _______ of pharmacists

I think Rx will be better for Clinical pharmacists. Because pharmacists can prescribe OTC drugs.

This is an interesting question. In the United States of America, the basic requirement for the pharmacist has gradually been upgraded, from the bachelor of science to the master of science, and now, the doctor of pharmacy. In addition to the doctoral degree in pharmacy, another examination, the Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination (MPJE), is a requirement for employment as a pharmacist. As far as a symbolic icon is concerned, maybe something like the scales might be appropriate because (1) pharmacists are responsible for accurate measurement; and (2) pharmacists are expected to know the laws that govern safe and secure dispensary of prescription medications and to make well-balanced decisions under a variety of different circumstances and sometimes on a case-by-case basis in exceptional situations.
A Bowl of Hygieia is one of the symbols of pharmacy. Hygieia was the Greek goddess of hygiene and the daughter of Asclepius. Asclepius' symbol is his rod, with a snake twined around it; correspondingly, Hygieia's symbol is a cup or chalice with a snake twined around its stem and poised above it.

I hope Prescription is represents pharma teams, while syringe is usually used by Nurses and Stethoscope for Doctors, from any clinic, hospital or any health prescription users comes to pharmacy, that is why i choose prescription as pharma identity.
I think that a relevant symbol that could represent our future profession is the 'Pharmaceutical Care Compass.' This symbolizes the pharmacist's role in providing patient-centered care. It reflects our expertise in medication management, personalized recommendations, and collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
I believed whatever symbol we think of should be one that represents safety because the main sole role of clinical pharmacist is to ensure safe use of drugs.
