You would better read concept of a measurement system R&R analysis. Variance of a measurement data can be separated into its compounds such as equipment, operator, environment, etc. For this purpose we should have enough data. 

if using a likert scale plan the number of points and preferably use 6 point to collect the data.

And using SPSS check each items (R1, R2, ........R5) in reliability test and if the value is above 0.7 (cronbach alpha value) then it is acceptable
