I think we should read latest paper because of the evolution of DDOS. Can't refer some old mechanism. Is that right? and Here is subject about DDOS to Streaming Media Server + Service like Youtube or Vimeo. So how to solve big flood data in this streaming attack? That is problem need to answer

I am interested in DDOS

Some methods I read . Old research use Dynamic bandwidth, Active Queue mechanism and Threshold for charactteric of packets, visiting history..., Use point to separate legitimate user and attacker's access... In general, important factor is characterics of data to decide drop or forward packet...

I am tending to research more about mitigating DDOS attack in high-speed network or streaming media service like Youtube, Vimeo 

What type of DDoS attack you want to consider?

I consider layer 7 application. Because it is most popular trending . Http get, post, downloading, http synchronous..

I am working on it. What parameter  do you want to consider for detection?

history based, credit based, ANN etc.

Have some parameters : Cookie History, Dynamic Threshold, Credit point ...but They are the same method when use characteristic of history data and train with algorithm. I am not sure, it is effective with Streaming Media Application because each RTP package and bandwidth for each user session is fair huge.  if use cache or queue to analystic , I think it will be not effective. I am thinking some options to mitigate this.
