Recently, I have been trying to test the resistivity of the sputtered ZnO thin film. The contact I used was Titanium. The result still suggest that the I-V curve to be like diode if low voltage was applied. Yet I would like to have Ohmic contact. In order to fit in my design of device, the way of testing is a little different from others: I used sandwich like design, that is the ZnO layer was in between two layers of Titanium.

Gold is also good, I tried Gould but during soldering sometimes gold come out so we use Cr-Gold and now it is going well so I will recommend it
Generally I use planer method for contacting.In that case I use Al/Gold.(Deposited by sputtering Gold/Al target by masking the film). Thermal evaporation can also be used.
You may try Platinum . There is one paper published on this combination.
You may also try to deposit a thin film of Ag on ZnO. It works for me.
