Dear colleagues,

I‘m trying to modify a sodium bentonite to make it capable of coagulation (detackification) of solvent borne paint in water. The goal is to produce a product from conventional sodium bentonite that will afford the same properties as Bentone HC (Elementis) and Cloisite Na (BYK). As I understand, the products mentioned above (Bentone HC and Cloisite Na) are modified with some kind of right surfactant. Could you please share your experience.
