Hi everyone,

I have frozen cells from a cat. Some frozen cells were sent out for cell transformation.

Now I got the cells back. But the question is what tests I can do to examine if the received cells are from the same cat I sent out? I still have some original cells from the same cat in liquid nitrogen.

I know in human being there is some DNA tests to examine the paternity but I don't think cat samples will work with the human test...

Also, I don't have nasal swabs and it is not possible to get nasal swabs now, so some of the DNA tests for cats which require nasal swabs are not an option here.

Thank you I appreciate any comments you may have!
