uricase is an enzyme that used for treatment of gout disease. gout affect on kidney and joint.... i used THP-1 and HFLS but i want to know is there any suitable cell line for this purpose? thanks a lot

If you want to examine the anti-inflammatory properties of your plant compounds on MSU crystal-induced inflammation then monocytic cell lines might be your best choice. You can compare LPS- vs. MSU crystal -induced cytokine production (e.g. TNFa, IL-1beta, IL-8) using mouse RAW264.7 or human THP-1 monocytic cell lines. Good luck with your experiments!
