Please identify this mushroom which is found in Casuarina equisetifolia stem cuttings.
is this woody, corcky, spongy ? what is the texture definitely? add more pictures if available plz
It is corcky and gives a good smell
It would be important to know the photo and description of hymenio. Color and size of spores
Looks like Rigidoporus, but you have to look at the spores and hyphal structure
It is Ganoderma sp.
It could be a Ganoderma sp. but the picture and details is not clear enough to decide!!
Its may be ganoderma but i m not sure. Kindly upload more and clear picture
@ Arumugam Karthikeyan
It is certainly some species of Ganoderma, most probably Ganoderma applanatum (= Ganoderma lipsiense).
Thanks!
Thanks Arvind
I recommend joinging Mushroom Observer for ID: https://mushroomobserver.org/
It's an outstanding resource.
