Can someone explain me what the Delta Cell index is? I know how it is calculated but why using the Delta Cell index instead of the normalized cell index?

Cell index: Quantitative measure of cell number. Delta cell index: DCI: Cloniginal + CI: Delta Time.

Filip Roudnicky - the hyperlinks in your spreadsheet are not active.. I also have a question on top of this one - I cannot normalise cell index for some of my cells as I get a message that values are less than 0.001... Usually, I normalise approx. 3-4h after adding a compound but for couple of cell lines it just doesn't work...I tried to decrease normalisation time in a range to the exact time of the beginning of the treatment and up to 10h. Still get message that norm index value is below 0.001... Curves look funny... Not normalised curves look fine but I need the same starting point, do I...
Can anyone explain to me what is Normalization time? What is its significance? I want to grow the cells and after some hours add the compound onto them.
