Hi HOE-694 is normally dissolved in DMSO but I read in some papers that it can be dissolved in water. I imagine that it dissolves at very low concentration,
I would like to know what is the maximal water solubility of HOE-694 or cariporide (HOE-642). I would be gratefull if anyone could help me. thank you.
There seems to be a good deal of data. Yes, solubility in water is s finite and rather low. Do a simple search in the web for HOE694 water solubility.

In the above paper, it is suggested to dissolve it in a small amount of DMSO, then dilute with aqueous buffer.

Thank you. the problem is that DMSO (even in that small amount) gave us effects that we want to avoid. That is why we were trying another method for dissolving it
It is also soluble in dimethylformamide and ethanol at about 10 mg/ml. Solution should be purged with an inert gas prior to use.
If you do use an aqueous solution, it is recommended to make if fresh daily.
