I used to prepare Graphene coating by mixing 50 mg Graphene and 5 mg PVDF in 3 ml NMP to be coated on FTO substrate. Recently, After drying the film contains many cracks and became easily removed from the substrate.
So, I need to to know is the drying temperature and mechanism is the reason for this behavior?

But, I think the homogeneity is also function in the drying time
Add a little amount of polyvinyl alcohol it will prevents the film from cracks, refer http://www.hindawi.com/journals/ijps/2015/407043/ ; http://dx.doi.org/10.1155/2015/407043
Annealing conditions and selection of solvents are important. Choose better solvent as PVDF is partially soluble in NMP. The drying temperature is 90-120c, which I used for my PVDF Composite films.
