I like your question but it is not easy to answer. I personally feel there are as many inner universes (subjective realities) as people although we might find some consensus about some things with others.

Our subjective universe is composed from our primary reality and our thoughts about our external reality- the interesting thing is that this depends on how we perceive external reality as our thoughts especially of an emotional nature affect us first before they fly off to affect the person to whom they were aimed. Hence a person who is very aware of his or her thoughts will be careful about what they think, and work on sending good thoughts to others and the world. This in turn affects our subjective reality.

Not sure if this helps but reality is a relationship we form with the real. So there is no subjective 'reality' without this relationship so subjectivity doesn't have a stand-alone 'reality'?

What we attempt to do in the form of the Vision-Space project is to model visual awareness, the data-structures and processes of information exchange that take place within the phenomenon of vision. When we undertake this task we become aware of the operations of perceptual structure and can perhaps see that aspects of this are foundational to 'who we are'. So there may be a basic set of mechanisms (perceptual structure) through which we all keep the plates spinning! I say 'all' but there are 'typical' and 'atypical' perceptual structures so even here we find diversity etc.

The attached is the latest up-date that attempts to consider embodied simulation, subjectivity and intersubjectivity.

One of the schools of Indian tthought known as Monism ( Adwaita) treats soul as reality. The process of realizing this is indeed subjective.

Though it is imperative to first know about human nature, it is equally important to explore the relation between the soul and mind.

Mind and soul in Indian thought are not treated in the same way .

Even within Indian metaphysics there are different thoughts, Advaita (as mentioned by Meera Chakravorty ). Dvaita and VishishAdvaita. Although all three acknowledge a soul or self, the three approaches differ in the relationship of the soul with the Absolute. Simply put, in Advaite the soul and the Absolute are the same, in Dvaita - there is a separation between the soul and the Absolute, and VishishAdvaita. which is "Advaita with uniqueness; qualifications" is a non-dualistic school of Vedanta philosophy. It is non-dualism of the qualified whole, in which Brahman alone exists, but is characterized by multiplicity".

You cannot “technologicalize” your subjective reality- you can ask questions and get a subjective answer and you can make a scale - but your subject matter is so vast, choosing the scale items would be very difficult. I suggest you define your field of interest a little bit more.

Is there a limit to the development of SR (level of difficulty)?

Vision-Space is a technology, all be it a 1st generation version.

The Post Production Tool (PPT) takes in 'picture frames' and converts them into 'image frames'.

The TRIZ patent analysis rated the level of invention as a paradigm shift for all forms of informations display and the way that we interact with them. 200 commercial applications across 12 industries. Seriously disruptive.

The next stage is to create an imaging system where the 'picture' is never formed. This will involve reconfiguring a gaming engine.

The issue is: how can we get this sort of thing through all the censoring agencies: Academic funding bodies, government departments and business investor systems!

As it is well known, subjective reality is “subject” to an elaborate set of filters, any one of which can modify a perception of that reality; sensory apparatus (e.g. the rods and cones in our eyes), sensory processing (e.g. the visual cortex), higher level brain function, and psychological factors (e.g. expectations). As such, what one person experiences is always different than what any other person experiences, but usually in subtle ways.

The camera is a filter...not a very sophisticated one. It's why we mis so much. Why so much doesn't show up. The eye/brain filter is more sophisticated which is why vision enables us to operate so successfully in our local environment. This is not a 'resolution' issue. We need to understand what's involved in us being objective so we can deploy that understanding at remote scales.

There is viable 3rd party position for science. There is no remote observer. Objectivity and subjectivity cannot be separated. This is not the same think as saying that there is no value in operating a 3rd party point of view. Of course there is but we should never forget that we are the ones embedded in the universe!

It's high time we brought subjectivity back into fashion as being relevant to our understanding of EMR. Doing so will teach us how to go about being 'objective'. We need to lean how to look.

"Reality is subjective" means that each person has his or her own unique perception of reality, and no two people have quite the same understanding of what is real. ... This is what is meant by the word "subjective.

Reality is a relationship we form with the real. You can't disassociate subjectivity from the physically real. This does not discount what you have said it very significantly expands upon its meaning.

The thesis "Subjective Reality - what we perceive" is wrong (your first link).

It's clear that

Each subject creates its own SR. However, the generating entities and mechanisms coincide in different SRs (of the same type).

I am only interested in generative mechanisms. The phenomenon of "Objective reality - OR" in the subject (in his SR) simultaneously exists in an infinite number of different sketches (different dimensions, different scales). Some sketches of the images of many people coincide. These sketches of images partially form the phenomenon of "Objective Reality" (the subject of ontological agreement in society).

SR may be "thing-in-itself" (e.g. meditation, hallucination).

Thanks to reflexion, empathy, imagination, other "Worlds" emerge and develop within any SR. "Image-Soul" plays an important role (the operating model of this entity is almost clear).

The mechanism of "controlled hallucination" plays an important role in ensuring the robustness of SR (norma), etc.

That generative mechanism generated itself in response to...or...in order to.. 'realise' what's 'out-there'. Self organised criticality (SOC). What Vision-Space appears to suggest is that the dynamics involved in EMR (light) scale through the membrane. What this sets-up ultimately evolves into SR.

I don't think we have explored the interconnectedness of this enough to understand how to be objective. If that is the case then the only stuff that is 'objective' is visual art! You know what I mean....some artist are keeping the faith. How much of this activity is taken seriously by vision scientists?

The rest is record making. Nothing wrong with this of course IF we understand that it just record making and do everything we can to keep at the coal face of subjective awareness open and active to keep track of things.

Vision is a controlled hallucination of course but that control mechanism is also dependent upon the environment (including the onset of light) and even the environment we have created (embodiment etc).

Subjective reality is the product of our brain that works as a pattern generator. Pattern recognition is a key element of human perception and intelligence. Our survival depends on it to be able to generate and see a whole from pieces. It could have been a huge advantage when at some point our ancestor was able to put together the sword-toothed tiger from the yellow spots seen in the green bush. We put together and interpret our world from such pieces of experience. That is why it is subjective. When a group of people accepts somebody's subjective reality, that will be the intersubjective reality. Which will be social convictions, religions, concepts, etc. These are our social world’s most important elements.
