In the situation when the isotope internal standard bile acids are not available, it is possible to use Structural analogs of bile acids. I want to know what compounds can be used as an internal standard instead of isotope ones in determine bile acid by LC/MS/MS?
Also, please can you tell me what type of issues should be considered in selection?

This paper is also used isotope. My question is about a substitution instead of isotope. As you know we can use a structural analogous instead of an isotope internal standard. What type of chemical compound can be utilised instead of isotope?
