Adding organic materials to the soil besides provides the soil with the essential nutrients also have many benefits such as; improve soil tilth, structure, aeration, and water holding capacity, moisture retention, drainage.. etc.. The most common sources of animal manure are cows, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, poultry, rabbits, and guano. Manure from different animals has different qualities and requires different application rates when used as fertilizer. Proper use of manure and compost is essential from both a production and environmental standpoint. Moreover, when used as amendment must need more care, for instance, we cannot recommend to poultry manure has much calcium to the alkaline soil which may be enhanced phosphorus fixation in this soil. Thus my question is there an addition the manure sources to a certain soil type especially problematic one (calcareous, sodic, saline and alkaline)
Therefore, my request is to provide me any practical suggestions to increase my knowledge in this issue, besides the literature review, articles, and technical report also are needed.
