Sometimes to divide what is good and what is bad for economy growth is hard. Should always take into consideration bad indirect losses both of short and long-term. This is like nuclear power or petrol tanking - both can expload. Or how to balance the protectional measures, efforts of protection of environment and interests of doing business. The more any administration has touch business the more problematic is development. Having totally corrupted political system in Ukraine or Nigeria or Soudan is hardly possible to built open economy. What economical productivity will grow legally in Ukraine if buying car or apartment you are paing for the pension fund. Selling sugar you are incorporated except of a value-added tax (18,25%) as well the army tax (1,5%). So, is it profitable for persons connected with military enterprizes (of State form as well) to stop military conflict in the East and lose profit granted? Who will invest in such conditions? Only high risk suspicious investors for 100-200% profit, like eg black trade by weapon! Perfect example – the Gladkowskiy-Svinarchuk case-scandal with Russian plain details smaggling for Ukraine with participation (even guiding this gang) by SECRETARY OF NATIONAL COUNCIL OF DEFENCE! So, what increasing of economy productivity such system is interested in? Thats the reason that Army budget in developed countries is completely transparant...

So, like conclusion for the question discussed, growing of productivity isn't the most important question in my opinion (remind socialist economics). Quality of goods like result of production is much more important but in some cases should change the old car even of perfect quality! THEREFORE SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT.

From my view, this is very related to the fourth industrial revolution (Industry 4.0). Disruptive Technogologies will impact significantly the way of production and consequently increase productivity.

From my point of view, the most important and necessary is the development of a new economic model that is not tied to economic growth.

Dear Friends and Colleagues of RG, The research conducted on the Research Gate portal shows that the subject of the development of IT applications for computerized advanced information processing typical of the current Industry 4.0 technological revolution in various industries prevails. The current technological revolution described as Industry 4.0 is determined by the development of the following technologies of advanced information processing: Big Data database technologies, cloud computing, machine learning, Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, Business Intelligence and other advanced data mining technologies.

Therefore, I am asking you with the following question:

In which branches, fields of industry and what types of information technologies of computerized advanced information processing find application? To what extent the development of robotics, work automation and the implementation of artificial intelligence, Internet of Things technology etc. are implemented in production processes, logistics, production management, etc.?

Productivity and production stand at the forefront of successful economies. Productivity is related to the organizational consciousness requiring the related employees to strive for a constant process of acquiring knowledge to actualize economic goals. Consequently, by focusing on productivity and production , economic systems get involved in a never-ending endeavor to obtain or preserve wealth, because they enjoy the necessary resources of production and productivity.

I agree Andrey Kovalchuk development of productivity and production is important for any industry's and nations's GDP growth. However, it doesn't necessarily increase the quality of life or sustainability in any form for those nations. Businesses and governments need to think about how to measure the sustainable level of their operations and to minimise them in parallel with thinking about their profitability. This is the only way they can say they are contributing to the economy, as this economy will die someday if we have poor ecosystems in our earth as a result of enormous climate change.
