Some authors (e.g. Sun et al., 2015) believe that during metal enrichment, Sulfur is in Sulfate form and magma is oxidized. This condition lets metals being enriched in magma.
So metals and Sulfur can transfer by the same magma. At the final stage, when hydrothermal activity begins, Sulfate can reduce to Sulfide and Sulfide mineralization can take place.
But the question is:
Is metal enrichment in Porphyry systems independent to Sulfur content and its chemical behavior in magma? Are these two processes related to each other or not? If the answer is no, What are the processes resulted in metal enrichment in Porphyry systems?
