In classical optics or Fourier optics, we use the Fresnel law or diffraction theory to explain the imaging via a thin lens. The interference phenomenons like the Young's Double-slit interference can be explained by the diffraction theory. 

In quantum theory, interference derives from indistinguish. The quantum imaging (entanglement ghost imaging) can be explained by the two photons interference. 

In the classical or quantum optics, what is the relationship between interference and  imaging?
