As scholars grow, researchers need to engage in some intellectual exercise by pushing the boundary of their knowledge by submitting their manuscripts to high-impact factor journals in their domain. Unfortunately, the h-index and number of citations are the publicly available measurements of researchers' output. Unarguably, the IQ of the editor-in-chief of these high-impact journals with the associate editors are above average. Thus, one should be able to deductively infer a full-time researcher's IQ from the quality of their research, using their h-index and number of citations.
