As I heard in Sri Lanka, a bore well was to construct at a location of a farm according to recommendation of hydro geologist. But due to bad weather condition, drilling location had to charge 10 m away from the recommended location. Unfortunately there is no any water in bore well. Therefore again another bore well was drilled the original location after climate was good.

Now more water was available. What is the reason ???

Why is water availability different in 10 m distance wells??

I heard the answer is that aquifer bottom level variation, cause this. But I can not understand.

As I think hydraulic conductivity in both horizontal and vertical direction, cause this condition.

It is pleasure that somebody can very simply explain this!!!.
