"Typically, we observe that chromium Cr(VI) is adsorbed (+1.2V) by electrode materials in capacitive deionization (CDI) technology. Surprisingly, the Cr(VI) removal rate increases during the desorption process (-1.2V) instead of desorbing.

I am using MXene material for this purpose. I would be grateful to the research community for any valuable solutions or suggestions to help overcome or understand this phenomenon."
