I am working with a company that makes sticky media (receipts) and labels. The adhesive is used is a water-based with pH around 9.5 - 10. Its solid % is 32 and high viscosity around 1500 cP. The method is used is flexo with two times tap; one with a hexano anilox 120 lpi and 21 BCM and the second is a tri helical 80 lpi and 28 BCM. During the run adhesive on the anilox make small balls of sticky adhesive. They were made again after washing with a cleaner and then with water. It makes lots of stop during our production. The other issue is too much foam that was created in adhesive during the run, while adhesive never makes foam alone. I appreciate if let me know your idea and your recommendations.
