I have encountered a problem in making liquid crystal, which is a type of nano particle.

When the liquid crystal is drug-free, factors such as size, zeta potential and z average are confirmed. But the liquid crystal containing the drug, for example, timolol, has an unacceptable z average (above 1000) and this is in the condition that the nanoparticle size is in the range of 400-100 nm. How can this problem be solved?!
