I have a question about comparing result between measurement and FE model in Abaqus and really appreciate if you can help me. I have recorded acceleration from a test and want to compare them with obtained values from the model in Abaqus. The peak values (Max acceleration) obtained from models are approximately 10 times more than measurements. My applied force is walking load which is the function of the moving object's weight so my applied load in Abaqus are multiplied by 9.81 m/s2. Also, the effect of gravity is removed from my accelerometer data (detrended). I would like to know if my acceleration obtained from the model can be divided by 9.81 m/s2 or what can be the reason for this discrepancy.
