The concentration range selected should be within the Linear Dynamic Range (LDR) of the detector. It is better to do few experiments to find out this range. It will be difficult for anyone to predict it. Some of the modern instruments offer very high linear range which may be even more than 4 Abs. This can vary from manufacturer to manufacturer.
