It was observed that keeping a little gap between the Ca solid rod and steel sheath (CRCA steel strip) in the cored wire has a large impact on the Ca recovery% in the steel melting. May I know the technical reason behind this?
Thanks for the reply and the patent. This patent is on the spacing while winding the cored wire and what I am interested is the inside spacing between the calcium rod and the steel strip of the cored wire. We have found the better recovery of Ca in steel if a little space is maintained between rod and steel strip than the compacted cored wire.
