70 year old diabetic with long standing Gall stones underwent Lap Chole following a severe Biliary colic/Ac cholecystitis with Uneventful recovery 5 weeks ago.LFT were normal and u/s scan showed distended GB with impacted stone at the neck.
Biopsy-opened specimen showing mild nodularity otherwise no specific lesion.microscopically adeno carcinoma involving the muscularis propria up to sub serosa, but serosa was not breached.cystic duct margins were not involved.
she underwent CA199 is normal,PET scan is normal including Gall bladder bed.No uptake by lymph nodes,These were done 5 weeks after surgery.
