I am grafting VEGF within a hydrogel to enhance the induction of neovasculature in the subcutaneous cavity of a mouse model. I would like to know the most suitable isoform of VEGF for this application. Additionally, I am curious whether human VEGF is effective, or if a mouse-specific VEGF is necessary. What would be the optimal choice for this experiment? If possible, could you provide key research papers and product links for further reference?
