The roots and rhizomes of licorice ( Glycyrrhia ) species have been used extensively as natural sweeteners and herbal medicines. The concentration of glycyrrhizic acid (GA) and 18β-glycyrrhetinic acid (18βGA) from licorice shows in vitro anti-inflammatory effects in a lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated macrophage model.Glycyrrhizic acid ammonium salt from glycyrrhiza root (licorice)≥70% (HPLC), a workable concentration for in vitro studies is 25-75 μM GA or 18βGA.

i have analysis results of liquorice extract , where the Glycyrrhizic acid concentration is more than 50% ( UV-VIs spectro) ( the method under IP). i want to know that is it possible to calculate the concentration of 18βGA from this result.??

or in other words if i ask what is the concentration of 18βGA in GA ( as i am able to understand that 18βGA is one of the acids of the total Glycyrrhizic acid).
