can you help me to know more about series and shunt resistance sources in a cell? I need some exact physical meaning of these two resistance.
in addition I want to know why by increasing the active layer area in a cell series resistance increases as well?

increasing the active layer area of cells can increase the series resistance, may be due to the bigger area of the transparent conducting oxide (ITO/FTO) from your active layer area. Since ITO/FTO has an electrical resitance. Depends on the quality that you purchase the ITO also shows slightly different resistivity value. Hopefully this can help you.
I came late to this question. It is a conceptual question.
The origin of the solar cell series resistance is the resistance of the semiconductor layers outside its space charge layers in addition to the contact resistances of the metal electrodes to their underlying semiconductors. If the collection of the photogenerated current is vertical then the Rs decreases with the solar cell area increase. But in case of finger like collecting electrodes as the length between the fingers increases the series resistance increases.
In the perovskite solar cells, is considered as a pin structure therefore its series resistance is resistance of of the hole transport layer htl , the electron transport layer etl and the resistance of the metal contacts to these layers.
The shunt resistance theoretically is very high and is due to the reverse saturation current of the active junction. In real solar cells there is some partial shorts of the junctions due to the formation of pinholes and metal filling of these pinholes reaching to the junction.
