I would like to invite your contribution for this questions about inset-fed rectangular microstrip patch antenna.

The atached figure shows the patch geometry of an inset-fed rectangular patch, where the notch width ‘g’ is located symmetrically along the width of the patch.

Some authors suggest that gap "g" will be at least half of the width of the microstrip feed "Wmf", others works suggest that the gap to be equal to Wmf, althought no theoretical justification was given for this rule.

Someone would have a theoretical referential for this question?
