We want to transfect rat neuronal cells with VectorBuilder PiggyBac plasmids and the according helper plasmid. The company does not give a protocol. We've seen 1:1 1:4 or 1:5 ratios in literature. Where to start?

Hello Benjamin, the best thing is to start from the beginning; 1:1, 1:2, 1:3 and so on. You could then reverse 2:1, 3:1, 4:1 etc. Always try to develop your own mixture ratios from your experiment as the word normal, as you call it, is very often only relative.
