Nowadays, CRISPR take a lot of attention as new revolution in biology, on another hand we have some hot topics such as antibiotic resistant, nanobiotechnology (hydrogels and drug delivery) and imaging development technologies etc.
So tell me your opinion about the next revolution in biology? (considering of all fields of biology)
And are we ready for that?

According to me the next revolution in Biology would be development of Synthetic Genomes and creating enhanced versions of all organism may be humans too like the super soldier project using synthetic biology. There are various researches going on this particular field of research such as developing a compact genome for yeast to free up space for gene cloning and various other artificial gene synthesis.
Immortals !!! Cryopreservation of whole live human and revival protocols, and several other techniques to improve the human life span.
Another revolution would be the usage of DNA as a storage device. as you might have heard about the storage capacity of DNA. So perfecting a model where the structure of the compact structure of the DNA will put into usage for other applications like this.
Also exploring the other sources of Nucleic acid and to reveal the nucleic acids other than DNA such as XNA and so on. Also the mystery of Dark DNA in human being. We believe that we have come so far in the field of Bioscience, but i personally think, we have just reached 5% of its true nature.

Thank you all for your comments, but i prefer to know your opinion rather than a nature article published in 2007. we are in 2019. the world is changing and personally I have some news about what will happen in near future. Great changes about fuel, antibiotic resistant, microbiome, water desalination, and genome editing are on way to come. Are you ready world? :)
