Several years ago colleagues and I undertook a revealing feedback study in the School of Education. The results showed the hugely varied and often sparse ways teachers provided feedback (both oral and written) and their different inherent beliefs about feedback. As educators workloads keep increasing, many resort to ticking boxes as a form of feedback. I am interested in knowing how you are providing meaningful feedback that is moving students' learning forward.
