I have obtained these data from Gaussian-09 package using keywords "freq polar" using B3LYP/6-31G++(d,p) exchange-correlation functional
Exact polarizability: 190.335 2.070 169.585 11.327 -3.895 121.249
Approx polarizability: 124.243 0.307 122.412 7.424 -3.481 91.397
and calculated the resultant polarizability taking the average over xx, yy and zz polarizability tensor components. Now, the problem appears to me as setting the units to the obtained result. I want to have the result in the units of polarizability volume, e.g., cm^3 or, A^3. Kindly allow me to have the suitable conversion factor. Thanks to all.
